Four book references that are a must read to further your dice setting career.

There are four books out there that each has important points in the education of the dice setter. Each book in its own way points out the basic necessities for good dice setting.

Back in 2002 Sharpshooter came out with his book, “Get the Edge at Craps” and was my first read on dice setting. I found the book a good basic starter reference for anyone just starting out at dice setting.

Yuri’s book, "Dice Control for Casino Craps," was one of the earliest books on dice setting back in 1998. His book has a lot of technical information and will appeal to the math people. You will find his technical breakdown of expectation results on various dice sets very interesting.

If an in depth description of the game of craps as an advantage play opportunity is what you want, you will need to read “The Mad Professor’s Crapshooting Bible” (2006). The book goes into great detail on all aspects of skilled craps shooting and how to win and achieve an advantage at the game.

The book I recommend for personal reasons is, “Wake Up Crap Shooters.” (2006) This book cuts right to the chase and shows you what has to be done to become an accomplished player in this new age of dice setting.

Each one of these books in its own way can help you become a dice influencer that can swing the odds in your favor.

Perhaps the best reference of all is right here on this website. A wealth of information can be found in the archives and clicking in on our list of writers.
