Part 23 -- Percent of Component Importance of Craps

Rating the necessary components of a good dice influencer can be difficult.

I believe the five skills, Discipline, Shooting skill, Betting strategy, bankroll and knowledge of the game are all equal in their importance to become an accomplished craps player.

DISCPLINE: 19%. Without it, your other skills are wasted. With it can mean the difference between a win and a loss.

SHOOTING SKILL: 19%. Means nothing if you don't have the other four skills. Without it, you are just another random roller.

BETTING STRATEGY: 19% it’s the difference of winning big or little. You need a strategy to take advantage of the current trend.

BANKROLL: 19% If you are short stacked; you won't be able to take advantage of any good rolls. Without a sufficient bankroll, you will be playing scared.

KNOWLEDGE OF THE GAME: 19% If you don't know what you’re doing, your other skills are useless. Knowledge of all aspects of the game maximizes your chances of winning.

ABILITY TO READ TABLE: 1.5% Most of the time we are stuck with whatever table is available.

TREND: 1.5% Goes hand in hand with above. Soon or later the trend will become obvious.

TABLE KARMA: 1% We can only hope the table becomes friendly and the crew is okay.

LUCK 1% A precision shooter makes his own luck. You can't predict luck.

SUPERSTITION: 0% As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't come into play.

In conclusion, if any one of the top five is missing, you are in big trouble.

The bottom five, if you are LUCKY, you will have the ABILITY TO READ THE TABLE and determined the TREND and ignore any SUPERSTITIONS and enjoy the TABLE KARMA.
